To fulfill her dream of opening an animal shelter, Gundega bought a property where she and her mother, Iveta, began building a new life devoted to caring for animals. Both past and present have tested them, but the challenges of their current life stand in sharp contrast to those they faced before. This is the story of three generations of women — Iveta, Gundega, and Gundega’s daughter, Ronja — revealing how passions, resilience, and love are passed down from one generation to the next, forming an invisible yet enduring bond between mothers and daughters
